The Boring But Important Bits
How Do I Book & what happens next?
Simply call or email us through our contact page.
When a booking is made, a $100 non -refundable deposit is taken via bank transfer to lock in your event date and time. The balance is due 72 hours prior to the event or simply paid in full if booked within that time frame.
A $200 cash bond is taken at the time of delivery and returned via bank transfer within 48 hours via bank transfer provided no damage has occurred to any hired items.
We will set up package with confirmation of times on the day of the event and up to 2 hours prior to the event. We will collect at an agreed time the following day.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
We will fully refund your payment if you cancel your booking by email and if more than 3 days’ notice is given prior to your event. If you cancel your event for any reason within this time frame, we will refund your payment minus your $100 deposit.
We can’t 100% predict the weather however, In case of unforeseen and inclement weather that would see the termination of the event we will do our best to work with you to postpone for another date, or offer a refund minus the initial deposit.
How far do you travel to set up?
We cover a radius of up to 30km of Woombye 4559 (Paynter Park Drive). Any bookings outside of this radius will incur a $2.00 per km fee.
Can we order a food platter?
Most definitely, we are well known for our tasty grazing platters. Our yummy grazing platters can be made for 2 up to 24 people and all dietary requirements can be catered for.
What happens if we damage any equipment?
When hiring our services and equipment, you acknowledge that you are responsible for any items that you hire and will be liable for any damage caused. On delivery of any hire item, it is your responsibility to check that the item is undamaged and in good working order and to notify us immediately if this is not the case. If you fail to do so, you will be deemed to have caused any damage to the item.
We require the provision of a $200 cash deposit or a credit card number for security in case of damage to hire items.
You acknowledge that there is an inherent risk in operating electrical equipment such as projectors. You should not allow any electrical equipment to become wet or mishandle any such equipment. You expressly release Outdoor Movie Hire from any liability as a result of any injury suffered while using a projector, movie screen, or electrical equipment supplied by Outdoor Movie Hire.
